What The Hubster did this weekend

My dear, darling husband has been having a blast playing with all the photos from our trip out West this summer. (I know… I’ll get back to finishing up the trip report for you all soon — I promise!)

He’s been using Picasa (from Google) to share them with family and friends on-line, and — with the face recognition software — has been making sure everyone is tagged appropriately.

But… the really fun thing is that Picasa includes an app that creates little movies using the tagged faces.

For your enjoyment — I share this one he made of me.

In all my double-chinned, must-get-my-roots-touched up, grumpy-faced glory!

Enjoy!
Eileen

So close and yet so far!

Everyone feel sad and glad for Eileen!

She’s in Orlando but she won’t be going to the parks! Zut Alors! She has missed one!

She’ll be adding to this post in a bit. I was supposed to just post the pic but I couldn’t help putting in my two cents. (I was also supposed to straighten it and crop out the creepy redrum girl but I think it adds a lil sumpin).

Feelin’ a little like Dr. Doolittle

After finishing up looking longingly at “tall water,” we got back into the car to head up in into the upper section of the Grand Loop of Yellowstone. (Remember, it’s like a figure 8, and we’d already explored the lower circle to this point.)

And, although Hayden Valley in the lower section had been a goldmine of bison, I was anxious for the possibility of seeing more varied creatures.

Little did I know, I’d be rewarded far more than I could’ve ever dreamed!

Water, water, everywhere…

Keep in mind that this is only the second part of our day — which started fairly early with Hayden Valley and the bison.

But, as numerous and interesting as they were, they were just the tip of the iceburg in terms of animal sightings for this day!
