Make it work, Jimmy

Man,… even Kate Gosselin made me laugh on this one.

Tina Fey is my hero!

And Hurley? Land sakes, I miss seeing him on TV so much!

Jane Lynch deserved her win — and tons more after the years of joy she’s brought me on-screen.

What The Hubster did this weekend

My dear, darling husband has been having a blast playing with all the photos from our trip out West this summer. (I know… I’ll get back to finishing up the trip report for you all soon — I promise!)

He’s been using Picasa (from Google) to share them with family and friends on-line, and — with the face recognition software — has been making sure everyone is tagged appropriately.

But… the really fun thing is that Picasa includes an app that creates little movies using the tagged faces.

For your enjoyment — I share this one he made of me.

In all my double-chinned, must-get-my-roots-touched up, grumpy-faced glory!

Enjoy!
Eileen

Then the dreaded blast of viruses shut me down cold. Which made The Hubster put a moratorium on going to sites that allow viewers to upload stuff to their servers, ’cause they’d invariably upload viruses (intentionally or unintentionally) along with their pictures.

And viruses kill my laptop, they force The Hubster to say naughty words while fighting the Good Fight, and they keep me from blogging regularly. And I do like to blog regularly! ;)

So I was thrilled when I found It Made My Day: Little Moments of WIN!

A geeky comic

When you’re married to a geek, you are often bombarded with links to geeky humor sites by your well-meaning loved one. Some of the humor I “get,” some I have to look up, some I just shake my head and go back to reading my other emails.

But XKCD’s comics are worth clicking on. This one, especially, made me laugh out loud because it’s so darned true!

I have heard/had this exact same conversation in my house many times…
