Today is my day for getting our master bedroom re-painted. (My cousin is going to housesit for us during our Westward Ho trip this summer, and I want to spruce things up a bit.)
In the meantime, here are some updates on the antics of Flat LeeNee in Walt Disney World:

The Hubster likes to brag about my ability to choose the right color for the right project. (After a wickedly-expensive decade of getting my Bachelors and Masters degrees in design, I better have a good sense of color, n’est ce pas?!)
Yes, I do know the difference between ecru, toast, buttercream, and ivory. And don’t confuse seafoam and sage around me, or I might just get all up in your grill over it! (Kidding… sorta.)
Well, our house is rather “vanilla,” in the sense that its color scheme is a tad bland. And I’ve been working to overcome that whenever possible (and in the budget.)
Much to my chagrin, I am not accompanying my besties to Walt Disney World this week. I am NOT hugging them, I am NOT eating fabulous (gluten-free) food, I am NOT riding rides, I am NOT getting pictures with characters.
However, my bestie Shashi has found a way to salve my poor, broken heart by creating “Flat LeeNee.”
Flat LeeNee can bring all the luggage she wants, and no one charges baggage fees, nor do they tease her.
When you’re married to a geek, you are often bombarded with links to geeky humor sites by your well-meaning loved one. Some of the humor I “get,” some I have to look up, some I just shake my head and go back to reading my other emails.
But XKCD’s comics are worth clicking on. This one, especially, made me laugh out loud because it’s so darned true!
