We’re closing out our day in Jackson with the whoopin’ and hollerin’ of the rodeo.
Our night will finish out with fireworks. And tears, if my history with watching fireworks follows the normal pattern.

Today is Independence Day.
I’ve decided that this means we should be free of driving. Free of our tiny car. Free of digging things out of bags and suitcases. Free of doing much of anything. (The Hubster, however, has ideas of getting The Boy on an Alpine slide attraction, that I will *not* be doing.)
The town of Jackson, Wyoming has lots of events planned, including a big fireworks show tonight that I’m looking forward to. Otherwise, I think I just may hide in the hotel, play FarmVille, and nap in perfect comfort.
We *are* having a fabulous vacation, and are still enjoying each others’ company to a surprising degree.
If you get my Twitter feed, you’ll have learned that The Hubster got a speeding ticket in Utah. While the hit to the budget was unwelcome, the hilarity of our post-officer drive was full of funny quips and teasing that made it all so much easier to bear.
