Gateway to the Midwest

After leaving Chicago, we drove into the night until we were too sleepy to go farther. Unfortunately, that wasn’t as aggressive as The Hubster’s schedule had called for, resulting in our arriving at the St. Louis Arch a little later than planned the next day.

Still, we were appropriately awed by the structure… not to mention the long line of people filing into the below-ground entrance door.
