Bento

The Boy had requested some of my meatballs for today’s bento and I was happy to oblige, especially as I had a good supply in the freezer — all ready to be defrosted and packed up.

When I went into the bento storage area that The Hubster had reorganized this weekend, I was delighted to find one of the bento boxes that I’d feared had gone missing! Plus, it prompted me to use a two tier box that I hadn’t used in a while.

And, as much as I love the new finish on the kitchen table, it’s messing with my color balance in the food pics. I need to get some background papers that won’t give a chromo bounce that makes everything I photograph look like it’s being viewed through rose-colored glasses.

Man, I need me that new camera — BAD!
