A couple of random things

With The Hubster back in our midst, I plan on staying away from the computer all day — except… well, I have to come back to Cafe World in an hour to take a bunch of things off the stove. Yeah… nothing’s changed with my OCD tendencies.

First off, thanks to Susan at My Bento Box for very kindly giving me an award!

I have to tell you all seven things about myself.

1. I say “I laughed so hard, I wet my pants” alot… but it’s only actually happened once.
2. I whiten my teeth twice a year and it’s always before I go to Disney with Kdubs.
3. I read romance novels, but the sex scenes make me blush and I start flipping pages until I stop seeing the phrase “heaving bosoms” or “swelling flesh.” Seriously…
4. I don’t always wash my face or brush my teeth before I go to sleep. (I know you’re all saying “ewwwww!”)
5. I’d rather have girl dogs than boy dogs — I like rubbing girl dogs’ bellies. Boys… not so much.
6. I know the latin names of most of the plants in my garden. Even the weeds.
7. I like things to be clean and tidy, but I hate cleaning. Best day of my life was when I hired a cleaning service. Worst day was when I had to stop the service after leaving Corporate America.

Secondly, I snapped some pictures of the kitchen chairs in place — they don’t have their seat cushions yet, but you can get an idea of where I’m going. (The fabric I have is the same color as the placemats.)

The flowers on the table are from Kdubs — love them! When I cut back my food budget last year, I stopped buying fresh flowers and I didn’t realize how much I missed that until I saw them sitting on my table!

And, while I had the camera and the sun was shining so nicely into my kitchen window, I snagged a picture of my new coffee mug in use:

I’m still lovin’ it!
