The morning after the ball

I could risk the eternal wrath of the older sister and take a picture of a snoring Cinderella right now, but…

…now that she’s got these two first place certificates from the Beau Monde soiree, I’d say she deserves a little sleeping in today.

Yep… yepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyep! SHE WON BOTH AWARDS! Yahoooooooo! (Very exciting.)

Today begins the conference itself, starting with the keynote luncheon and the first of the workshops. I’ve put together what I hope will be a very rewarding, interesting, informative — and, yes, exhausting — line-up of events that will carry me back home with the gumption I need to get my butt in gear again.

And no… the most of Disney I’ve seen has been a glimpse of a small corner of Spaceship Earth as we traveled back from the Boardwalk on Tuesday night. *sigh*

    Congratulations to the sleeping Cinderella!

What is this bogusness of not taking her photo! It is a family requirement! And big congrats to her for her prestigiousness. Tiaras all around!

I’m so excited for you both! You’d think I’d won something too. ;) Hope today is fantabulous for you and just the inspiration you need to get ye olde rear in gear. Wish I was there with you (although I’d be sneaking off to Disney while you got edumacated.)

Congratulations! Dare I hope to pick up one of your sister’s books soon? I adore a good Regency romance!

My my. Oh you conventioneers. No strip clubs, please, Dear.

Was there a wet t-shirt contest? No wonder she slept in.

  6. LeeCee says:

Hi, all–thanks for the kind congrats!

And Younger Sister is dang lucky she DIDN’T post a picture of me snoring (with my Bozo hair and trail of drool) or she wouldn’t dare fall asleep for the rest of the trip. I have a website, too, baby!!!

A fair rejoinder, sister dear. What with my earplugs, mouth guard, hair in a top knot, I do NOT want my wakey-wakey-eggs-and-bakey picture taken or put on the intertubes.

    Not on your life!

  8. Shashi says:

Woohoo! Congratulations, LeeCee! Enjoy the rest of the conference, ladies.

Congratulations! I don’t know if I could be that close to Epcot and not hear Grey Goose Lemon Slushies yelling my name. :o )
